1. Academic and Non-Academic Writing

People usually define the word “ academic “ as
something that related to educational. Academic writing is the formal writing
which focus on a specific academic subject which means that it we are talking
about information which written in a form of essay, article, journal and etc. The
information in academic writing taken from a process of learning, in this case
it has theories, hypothesis, background, and etc. Also it’s written in a
certain structure or well - organized.
Non-academic
writing is a personal writing or personal thoughts of someone which taken by
his experience, issues, or ideas which is not collected by doing observation or
learning process. There is no certain structure but depend on personal style of
writing.
